Las Vegas Transit Passes & Getting Around

The Las Vegas Strip is 4.2 miles long. Walking the whole thing is doable but exhausting, especially in summer heat. Here are the most economical ways to get around.

The Deuce Bus

The Deuce is a double-decker bus that runs the full length of the Strip and into downtown Fremont Street. It operates 24/7 and is the cheapest way to travel. A 24-hour pass costs $8, a 3-day pass $20. Buy passes at vending machines at major stops or on the RTC app.

Las Vegas Monorail

The monorail runs along the east side of the Strip from MGM Grand to the SAHARA. Stations are behind the casinos, so expect a 5-10 minute walk from the monorail to the Strip. Single ride $5, 24-hour pass $13, multi-day passes available. Useful for getting between the middle and north Strip quickly.

Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

Widely available, but surge pricing is common on weekend nights and after events. Each casino has a designated rideshare pickup area — follow the signs. Average Strip ride: $8-$15. Airport to Strip: $15-$25.

Free Options

  • Free trams: Bellagio ↔ Vdara ↔ Park MGM, Excalibur ↔ Luxor ↔ Mandalay Bay, Aria ↔ Bellagio
  • Walking the casino corridors — many casinos connect internally, with air conditioning
  • Some casino players cards include free parking
